Church Meetings

In a constant desire to remain open to God and develop a structure that can remain a wineskin into which God can pour new wine, the meeting structure of the church is constantly changing but the major elements are as follows:

Church Sunday Service

The main church service is at 10.30am each Sunday and last for approximately 90 minutes. The emphasis is on worship and teaching though occasionally other activities are undertaken such as corporate prayer, drama, children?s talks and the like.

Housegroups

House groups are a key building block within the church. They meet in the homes around Ledbury (see separate section) and the emphasis is not so much on teaching and bible study as on fellowship and supporting each other spiritually and practically.

Prayer Meetings

The church undertakes other prayer meetings on a more ad hoc basis. In the past year these have included meetings in the church, time spent praying for Ledbury on the hills outside the town. Information on these can be gained through the weekly notices at church or through one of the elders.

Ladies Fellowship

The Ladies fellowship meets on a Monday afternoon and by definition tends to attract those of an age who no longer have work commitments. Having said that all are welcome?including men! Leader Contact: Shirley Merrick

Team 3<14

This group seeks to meet the needs of those in the church who are of this age group. It runs alongside the Sunday Service and meets for the latter part of the morning worship. Once a month a worship and creative arts workshop is held where children can take part in activities as varied as Art and craft, drama, music and dance.

Laser Group

In conjunction with the Team 3<14 the laser group seeks to meet the needs of the children in the 11-14 age group

TGIF

This is a group for the older youth in the church. At present it has two groups. The first is on Monday evening and seeks to meet the deeper spiritual needs of its members. The second is held on a Friday and is a more open meeting to bring friends to. Each meeting is held fortnightly.
